The project brings together a hotel and logistics centre within a single, coherent architectural concept, conceived as a new landmark at the southern edge of Ljubljana. Located between the open landscape of the Marshes and the commercial fabric of Rudnik, the building responds to its prominent position by establishing a clear urban presence while remaining closely connected to the wider landscape. An elevated linear hotel volume hovers above a lower horizontal base, creating a recognizable silhouette and marking a new point of arrival into the city.

Rather than treating the hotel as an isolated object, the design understands it as a living habitat — a place shaped by openness, atmosphere, and connection to context. The raised volume frames long views towards the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, Ljubljana Castle, Golovec, and the Marshes, linking the experience of the interior with the geography of Ljubljana. Below, the logistics programme is integrated into a green accessible platform that extends the landscape across the site and reinforces continuity at ground level.

The building is expressed as a singular architectural whole despite the duality of its programme. A continuous veil of perforated corrugated metal in a light copper tone wraps the volume, filtering light, moderating views, and giving the project a calm and distinctive identity. Through this combination of infrastructural pragmatism, architectural clarity, and landscape integration, the project defines a new urban threshold for this part of Ljubljana.
